Biography
Kristina Joslin, Esq., is a dedicated litigation attorney at Miller & Associates, Attorneys LLP. Kristina specializes in assisting with marital dissolutions, marital separations, prenuptial agreements, child support orders, spousal support orders, and domestic violence restraining orders. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude with an advanced legal certificate in Child Welfare.
Kristina possesses advanced legal research skills which can prove helpful during complex legal cases. Kristina was previously a legal writer and researcher for the Mitchell Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy where she was professionally published in the field of Child Welfare. Kristina also previously worked as a legal extern for the Office of the Attorney General where she regularly drafted legal memorandums on novel legal issues.
Outside of her legal career, Kristina boasts nearly two decades of experience as the Chief Operating Officer of a local healthcare company. This experience has provided her with a wide breadth of knowledge regarding business operations and how those operations can be affected by marital dissolutions. Kristina also has firsthand experience navigating various loan types, including VA loans, conventional loans, jumbo loans, mortgage refinancing, and HELOCs. Accordingly, these experiences support Kristina in offering practical guidance regarding the feasibility of property retention options during divorce proceedings.
When not practicing law, Kristina spends most of her time chauffeuring her children to and from various extracurriculars, including competitive soccer, gymnastics, and golf.
