Jason R. Williamson

Jason R. Williamson is an Associate Attorney at Miller & Associates, Attorneys LLP where he represents clients in all aspects of family law. He is a California licensed attorney dedicated to guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult transitions with empathy and professionalism.

Jason earned his Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law in 2024. During law school, he gained practical experience at McGeorge’s Community Legal Services Clinic, advocating for clients on their most important, life-altering issues. His commitment to client advocacy was also reflected in his achievement as a finalist in the Ben Frantz Oral Advocacy Competition, where he demonstrated strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills even in his first year of law school.

Prior to practicing law, Jason served in law enforcement for many years with the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. He focused on community outreach to vulnerable populations and was dedicated to working with people to find real solutions. His law enforcement background instilled in him a deep respect for client-centered advocacy and sharpened his ability to navigate some of the worst times in people’s lives with compassion and care. Drawing from both his law enforcement and legal experience, Jason approaches family law matters with a balance of firmness, compassion, empathy, and practical problem-solving.

When he is not practicing law, Jason enjoys hiking, reading, fishing, and spending time with his wife Kelly, and their families.
